Experience Expert

For over 10 years I have been a User Experience Designer. There are many descriptions of user experience, such as, how a user experiences technology, the humanization of technology, or the reason you don’t throw a computer across the room. Regardless, UX is one of the most spiritual professions in technology because it encompasses so much emotion and awareness. I am an empath, and empathy is a large part of User Experience because you must put yourself in the users shoes always. Even at my soul’s core I love what is called findability, which is the ease of being able to locate something and is part of a larger profession called Information Architecture. However, the field of User Experience has quickly grown over the years into a powerful and controlling asset to businesses and the energy around it can be negative and dense.

In 2019, during my Saturn Return, I began my spiritual awakening, taking leaps to fulfill my soul purpose–leaving my husband, finding my faith, losing and regaining my control…lots of long epics. Then in 2020, during COVID, I ended up leaving my career as a User Experience Designer. At this point in my career, the ideas I was helping birth didn’t feel right to me, they were not always in humanities best interest, and most of all were becoming more and more about using screens instead of fulfilling needs.

When I left my job I pushed the technology side of my profession into a shameful hole. I became so much closer to the earth, taking up gardening, spending time in the water (which I’ve always loved), and raising animals. Even now in 2022, my fiance and I just bought a log home where will will build our homestead and grow our family: animals, plants and all.

As I begin my path of ascension my dharma is unfolding to me. I know I am here to help birth ideas, bring them to life. I am slowly reaccepting technology from a spiritual and quantum level. I’ve decided to restart my career as an Experience Designer from a different side of business: work with spiritual practitioners in order to raise the vibration of the planet.
